How to play

How to Play Killer Darts

Setup and Assigning Numbers

Teams: Manual teams you can determine the teams yourself. Automatic teams are decided by the assigned number. From low to high, the lowest and second highest are team red. The second lowest and highest number are team blue.

Weak hand throw: Each player throws one dart using their non-dominant hand (left hand if right-handed).

Claim your number: The number hit is your assigned target for the whole game. Retake if you miss or hit a claimed number.

Becoming a Killer

Switch hands: Switch back to your normal dominant hand.

Aim for your number: Aim for your own assigned number. You can also help your teammember to throw their number.

Killer threshold: If you have five points in total your status gets upgraded to killer. Hit your own number to build lives (single 1, double 2, triple 3). Lives cap at 5: score past it and the surplus is deducted from 5 instead. Team members can help each other to become killer.

Attacking and Elimination

Attack others: Once a killer, use your turn to throw at the other team assigned numbers to remove their lives.

Self-penalty: If you accidentally hit your own or your team member number as a killer, you lose one of the lives.

Game over: When a player hits -1 lives, they are eliminated. At -1 you're dead, and can only return by scoring 3 points yourself or your team member on your own number during your turn. The last team remaining with one or both active lives wins the game.
